NRITYALOK’s young and talented students have participated in the Dance Festivals like :

Nrityalok has competed 22 Glorious Years and staged various Dance Drama Productions ; Mohua, Ardhanariswar, Mukti, Megh Balika, now the institute has its own repertory and the repertory of dancers has been recognized by the Govt. of India, Department of Culture and Sangeet Natak Academy.

Last 20 years for Cultural awareness of people, NRITYALOK has been continuously working on various activities that are – Seminars, Workshops, Lectures, demonstrations and training which is also integral part of Art & Culture in collaboration with Department of Culture, Govt. of India ( New Delhi).

Another focus areas of NRITYALOK, is the teaching of Classical Dance. It also imparts training in Rabindra Nritya, Since Creative Dance, Folk Dance & Yoga.

Since two years Central Sangeet Natak Academy has been helping, Nrityalok by giving grant for training of Classical Dance.

National Choreography Dance Festival has been organizing by Nrityalok since 4 years in collaboration with dept of culture.

Nrityalok is a dream of Sutapa. This socio cultural institute dedicated to dance, which was founded in 1999 under the able guidance of Sutapa Awon Pradhan, to preserve, promote and propagate Indian rich cultural traditions and heritage. The institute runs with the traditional way of Guru Sishya parampara of ancient India, where the Guru or Teacher and the Shisya or Student share a special bond.

Sutapa runs her own Dance Academy Nrityalok, were young students are trained in Bharatnatyam and also the different folk Dance forms. Simultaneously Nrityalok has produced different dance drama productions & choreographical presentation like – Mohua Sundari; Saju Rupai Ka Tha Katha; Ardhanariswar; Meghbalika; Mukti. Sutapa has also shown her talents in the field of acting and has played leading role for Sakuntala & Ananda.
